I was fortunate enough to have stumbled upon the portal without needing to camp for it. I was just doing the Harrison Jones daily (The Blessing of Beasts chain) when I caught sight of a portal out of the corner of my eye. It spawned at about 47,27 in Frostfire Ridge, down the little raised section of rock where the altar to lure the Rylak is. It spawned near the two large, dark spires jutting out from the mountain, right in the little gap between them.

It spawns between these two small rocks. Here's a video that shows the person who found it exit the portal.
Thanks to Ritalyn on wowhead, we now also have a picture of the portal, just about to spawn! You can see a dead and decay-like animation on the ground before the portal materializes.

This post will be a collection of all the information we have on the Voidtalon of the Dark Star and the portals where it can be found, called Edge of Reality.

For now, I will point you towards wowhead, where a huge number of people have shared all they know, and helped many other players in a great way:

Time-Lost ... in time!

Today, I didn't manage to get into the raid team because I simply didn't realize it was time to whisper a guildie for an invite, and so they had 10 people and started the raid. I decided to go up to Northrend to find an Unborn Valkyr for one or the other person on my friendslist that was still after one.

After Crystalsong Forest, my path took me to the Storm Peaks. I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be nice to see time-lost again, now that I am absolutely not looking for it?" And, behold, on my way to the second spawnpoint of the Valkyr, he came flying over from the Ulduar spawn.

I switched the UI off and took the screenshots I wanted for a long time: Time-lost flying untagged, alive!

I then thought "tag, tag, hold for someone!" but wasn't sure how, and worried I might oneshot it, and then someone had already come along and killed it. Sorry Relli, sorry Aladur!

Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent

As of the beta version [15913], I noticed that my Thundering Jade Cloud Serpent icon was missing from my sidebar. I went to check the Mount Journal and lo - Underneath the entry for the T. Jade Cloudserpent, there was the new Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent, implemented this patch!

However, you can't mount it unless you are exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent. I won't be gringing any rep in the Beta yet, but it looks very likely that Alani may in fact be the carrier of this pretty mount.
